Pricing

Two ways to buy. An individual seat by card, monthly or annual. Or a multi-seat plan for a practice, on invoice or purchase order, with the seats managed by your BIM manager. Every seat has every feature, on every supported Revit version, with each new Revit release included as it ships.

The arithmetic

The time and motion study puts a BIM coordinator's recovered capacity at 343–484 hours a year, and a sole practitioner's at 20–66 hours per active model. Pricing is not the obstacle to this decision; whether the tool does what this site says is, and the 14-day trial settles that on your own file. Set your own numbers below — figures are capped per-seat hours from the study's §07 table.

$500 per seat per year on the annual plan; $600 on monthly. Five seats and up can go on invoice: talk to sales.

Recovered capacity valued at your own hourly rate (USD or your own currency), multiplied by how many of each role you employ. The rate is a placeholder — replace it with yours. BIM Coordinator / Documentation Technician / Project Architect figures are the capped per-seat hours from the study's §07 seat table; halve them for the study's sensitivity floor if you want the lower bound. The Sole practitioner row uses the §07 per-model hours ladder × models carried, since that role has no seat-ceiling table. This measures capacity released, not invoices raised; capped figures; whether it converts to fee depends on your pipeline. Full derivation: the study, §07.

Sizing a large practice

Seats are named: one person, one machine. You size a purchase by the people who use IQ Tools in a normal week, not by headcount — a 200-person practice with 40 weekly IQ Tools users buys 40 named seats. Your BIM manager reassigns those seats from the account page as people move between projects, so the 40 need not be the same 40 all year. A shared floating pool for occasional users is planned, but is not available today.

Until it is stated here, ask: sales will quote a mix for your headcount and usage.

14-day trial

Full product, no sales conversation, no card. It runs against your own models, which is the only benchmark that matters. See the study for the three tasks worth timing.

Refunds

[REFUND WINDOW, e.g. 14 days], no questions. The full policy is short and lives at Refunds.

Revit versions

Every supported Revit version is in every seat, and each new release is added to the subscription as Autodesk ships it. Detail on the upgrade path is in the documentation.
